What materials are used for domes?

It depends on the product family. Dome kits use structural aluminum framing struts (no PVC here), double-pane tempered glass panels, and aluminum wood-grain panel options in many colors — the Tetra Glass kit is fully glazed and the Tetra Hybrid mixes glass viewing areas with insulated solid panels. Event and projection domes use engineered steel geodesic frames with polymer covers in clear, translucent, blackout, or printed and branded finishes.

How long does delivery and installation take?

Dome kits are built to order and event domes are made to order, so the production and delivery schedule is confirmed with your quote. Installation services are available for every product and are quoted with your project — dome kits are also designed for self-installation with the included manual and videos, or a local contractor.

Can the dome be customized to suit my needs?

Definitely. With our dome kits you can choose different layouts — go full glass for the views or mix in aluminum panels with a wood-grain finish for added privacy — plus window placement, door options, and glass tinting. Event domes can be configured with clear, translucent, blackout, or printed and branded covers, and options such as flooring, lighting, climate control, and projection are quoted per project.

Can the dome be used for commercial purposes?

Yes. Dome kits are used for glamping sites, eco-resorts, guest structures, and commercial spaces as well as homes. Event domes serve corporate events, festivals, brand activations, weddings, and hospitality, and every standard size can be purchased or rented.

Is it possible to order a return or exchange?

Every project is governed by its own quote and contract. Event domes are custom-manufactured, so they are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once a deposit has been made and manufacturing has begun. Exact terms vary by project and are set out in your quote and contract. If The Dome House causes a manufacturing error, a missing part, or another project issue, we will remedy it.
