Corporate Event Domes for Conferences and Company Events
When the company event outgrows the conference room — or the venue search keeps coming up short — a geodesic event dome puts a professional space wherever your organization needs it. The Dome House provides the dome and its components, for rent or purchase: you choose the site, and flooring, climate control, lighting, and AV are quoted around your program.

A Flexible Alternative to Traditional Corporate Event Tents
Five ways companies use a standard event dome — from a single evening to a full conference program.
Conferences & Summits
A general session in the round changes how a conference feels. Staging, seating, and AV build into the open, column-free interior with nothing blocking a sightline.
Company Celebrations
Holiday parties, anniversaries, milestone dinners — hosted on your own campus or grounds instead of the same hotel ballroom as last year.
Networking Lounges
A dedicated structure pulls networking out of the hallway. Furnish and light it as the room people plan to end up in.
Hospitality & Dining
Seated dinners, receptions, and catering service under one cover, with climate control available for the season.
Brand Activations & Launches
A printed, branded cover turns the structure into the activation itself — and the cover is reusable from launch to launch and city to city.
Planning a program, not just a party?
Tell us the format and headcount — we'll suggest the dome, the layout, and the options that fit the agenda.
Start the conversationThe Upgrade Path
When One Session Has to Land Differently
Most corporate programs run beautifully in a standard dome. Projection is the upgrade for the moment that carries the event — a keynote, a reveal, a kickoff. Systems are configured per project on the projection dome rentals page.

Immersive Keynotes
The presentation surrounds the room instead of sitting behind the speaker — a keynote format most attendees have never been inside.
Company Storytelling
Milestones, mission, and momentum told at 360° — built for kickoffs and anniversaries where the story is the agenda.
Data Visualization
Results and roadmaps rendered around the audience, at a scale a single screen can't reach.
Product Announcements
An internal or press-facing reveal staged as an experience — controlled entry, controlled light, full attention.
Training & Branded Video
Immersive training scenarios and brand films that hold a room the way a conference-room screen can't.
Corporate Event Dome Sizes
From breakout pods to a general session in the round — every size supports many layouts. Site-planning detail is on Event Dome Sizes.
| Size | Approx. apex height | Approx. floor area | Typical setup | Layout ideas |

Approximate dimensions for initial planning. Sizes are subject to change during engineering. Final dimensions and required installation clearances will be confirmed for your project.
Capacity and height are planning estimates only. Final layout depends on your interior program, local rules, and engineering — we estimate them for your project during quoting.
Ask about custom and larger sizes. Feasibility, availability, engineering, logistics, and lead time are confirmed for each project. Every standard size can be purchased or rented.
What We Provide, What You Arrange
The Dome House provides
- The dome structure, cover, and components
- Flooring and ballast as applicable to the project
- Delivery, installation, and removal — available services, scheduled as part of your quote
- Options quoted per program: climate control, lighting, and branding; sound and AV coordinated through our partners when scoped
- Projection systems and technical staffing where selected; custom projection content coordinated through our production partners
There is no standard AV, staging, furniture, sound, or power package — each is quoted to the program, or handled by your own production team. Services are scoped in your proposal.
Your team arranges
The Dome House supplies the temporary structure — not a permanent meeting venue. The site and event operations stay yours:
- The site itself — campus, grounds, lot, or rented land
- Any site permissions or property approvals
- Catering, furniture, and event staffing
- The program: speakers, production schedule, guest management
Rent per Event, or Buy for the Calendar
Rental
One Program, One Structure
For an annual conference or a one-off celebration, renting puts the dome on site for the program and takes it away after.
What's rented
The dome structure and its cover
Quoted as needed
- Delivery
- Installation
- Strike and removal
Optional upgrades on the same quote: flooring, printed branding, lighting, climate control, projection, sound and av, technical staffing.
Purchase
Own the Company Venue
Organizations that host recurring programs — briefings, trainings, seasonal events — often reach the point where owning beats renting. A purchased dome becomes standing infrastructure: a briefing center, an on-campus venue, an events capability the calendar can rely on.
Purchases run through a quote so the dome, options, and installation services arrive in one proposal.
Made to order. Schedule is confirmed during quoting.
Options & Upgrades
Options are quoted per program — full detail on the options and customization page.
- Flooring
- Printed branding
- Lighting
- Climate control
- Projection
- Sound and AV
- Technical staffing
Polymer covers in clear, translucent, blackout, or printed and branded finishes, with liners and additional options depending on the project.
Planning the Site
Corporate sites — campuses, lawns, lots, atriums — need the same fundamentals as any venue:
- A level surface, indoor or outdoor
- Access for delivery vehicles and installation equipment
- Working room around the dome for installation — larger domes can need 20 ft or more
- Indoors: enough clearance and room for lift equipment during installation
- Power for lighting, climate, and AV options
- Anchoring or ballast as set by the engineering for your site
- Agreed setup and removal windows
Site planning is reviewed with you before installation is scheduled.
U.S. rental projects are quoted by location and date, including Alaska and Hawaii. Additional shipping costs and lead times apply to Alaska and Hawaii. International inquiries are reviewed individually; availability, logistics, insurance, customs, and local requirements must be confirmed before booking.
Why The Dome House
- A venue-grade structure wherever the organization needs it
- Delivery, installation, and removal available as scheduled services
- Options — flooring, climate, lighting, AV, branding — quoted in one proposal
- Rent per event or purchase as standing company infrastructure
Corporate Event FAQs
Do you provide the venue, or just the structure?
The structure. The Dome House is not a venue company: you choose the site — campus, grounds, or a rented lot — and we provide the dome and its components, with flooring and ballast as applicable. Delivery, installation, and removal are available services scheduled as part of your quote.
Is a dome actually professional enough for a corporate event?
Yes. The interior is an open, column-free room that builds out to conference standard — flooring, climate control, lighting, staging, and AV — and a dome reads as an occasion on arrival. Options are quoted per program rather than bundled as a standard package.
Can it handle the AV a conference needs?
Yes. There is no standard AV, staging, sound, or power package — your production team can bring its own, or AV can be coordinated through our partners when scoped. Services are scoped in your proposal. If one session calls for it, the dome itself can become the display through a projection configuration.
What about heating and air conditioning?
Climate control is an available option, quoted to the season, the dome size, and the program. Power for climate, lighting, and AV is part of the site planning conversation.
How many people can a dome seat?
It depends on the format — theater rows, banquet rounds, lounge seating, and a stage each change the count. Capacity is a planning estimate, never a guaranteed occupancy; tell us the format and headcount and we'll recommend a size during quoting.
Can a dome go up indoors or in a parking structure?
Often, yes. Indoors the venue needs enough clearance and working room for lift equipment during installation, plus access for delivery vehicles; atriums, warehouses, and structured lots can all be candidates. Site planning is reviewed with you before installation is scheduled.
We run several events a year — should we buy instead of rent?
That's usually the tipping point. Every standard size can be purchased or rented; once a dome appears in the calendar several times a year — briefings, launches, seasonal events — purchase turns the recurring rental into an owned asset. We'll compare both against your event calendar in one proposal.
How far ahead should we book a corporate event?
As soon as the date holds — earlier if branding, projection, or a multi-dome layout is involved. Event domes are made to order and schedule is confirmed during quoting. We respond to inquiries or return calls within 48 business hours. Quote preparation time depends on your project's scope and complexity. We'll discuss the expected timeline when we connect.
Plan Your Corporate Event
Date, headcount, and format — that's enough to start. We review your date and site, then come back with a recommended size and an itemized proposal your events team can route for approval.
- Your date and site reviewed before anything is booked
- One proposal: dome, options, and installation services
- Rental and purchase compared when the calendar justifies it
