Yes. At The Dome House, we build each Tetra Hybrid Dome to order. You can pick which parts of the dome stay fully transparent and which are solid. Want privacy in the back and views up front? Easy. Need more insulation on the north side? We can make that happen.
What materials are used in the Tetra Hybrid Dome?
The frame is made from aluminum structural struts, not PVC or wood. Panels are a mix of double-pane tempered glass and insulated aluminum composite. These aren’t tent materials—they’re chosen for a permanent structure and look great doing it.
Is insulation included?
We offer rigid insulation panel upgrades for the aluminum sections, which most customers choose. These panels help regulate indoor temperature and make the dome comfortable for year-round use—even in colder climates.

With a local crew or contractor, the dome shell typically goes up in 3–5 days. Interior finish-out varies depending on how detailed you go. All panels arrive pre-cut, numbered, and ready to install with our guide.
