Geodesic Dome Kit Options and Customization
Every Tetra Glass and Tetra Hybrid kit starts complete — pre-welded frame, glazing or panels, entrance kit, anchoring feet, toolkit, and manuals. The options below are configured at order time, and which ones fit your build is confirmed against your kit, location, and engineering during quoting.
Glass Choices
Pick the glass for the view, the climate, and the privacy you want — or mix glass with insulated panels on the Tetra Hybrid.
Panoramic double-pane glass — maximum view, maximum light.
Softens glare and adds daytime privacy without losing the view.
Reflects the landscape — full privacy and a modern look.
Glass where you want views, insulated panels where you want privacy.
Glass Finishes
Clear, tinted, colored, or fully mirrored double-pane tempered glass — multiple shades including bronze and dark — to dial in privacy and sunlight.
Insulated Panels
On the Tetra Hybrid, wood-grain aluminum insulated panels replace glass wherever you want a solid wall — you choose which sections stay transparent. Finishes include wood tones, matte black, and neutral hues.
Doors and Entry
Every kit includes the aluminum entrance frame kit and door. Door configuration is confirmed with your order.
Windows and Vents
Operable ventilation windows and exhaust-fan cutouts for airflow where you need it.
Privacy Curtains
Wraparound curtain system for privacy on demand — the whole interior or just the sleeping area.
Ventilation
Exhaust and passive air-removal options to keep air moving year-round.
HVAC Preparation
HVAC prep options for mini-splits and similar systems; every kit is solar and HVAC compatible.
Interior Build-Out
Interior walls, flooring, electrical, and plumbing go in like a regular dwelling — finished by your builder.
Foundation and Anchoring
Anchoring feet and deck screws are included, with foundation guidelines for a pier-and-deck or concrete-slab base.
Engineering Documentation
Stamped engineering documents for permitting — structural, wind, and snow-load details — available in all 50 states.
