Event Dome Sizes and Capacity
Six standard sizes with the numbers you need to start planning: diameter, approximate apex height, approximate floor area, and typical setup time. Every size is available to buy or rent, and all are projection-compatible. Ask about custom and larger sizes. Feasibility, availability, engineering, logistics, and lead time are confirmed for each project.
| Size | Approx. apex height | Approx. floor area | Typical setup | Buy | Rent | Projection |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 ft Event Dome | ≈ 10 ft | ≈ 296 ft² | 2 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| 24 ft Event Dome | ≈ 12 ft | ≈ 426 ft² | 2 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| 30 ft Event Dome | ≈ 15 ft | ≈ 695 ft² | 2 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| 44 ft Event Dome | ≈ 22 ft | ≈ 1,520 ft² | 4 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| 50 ft Event Dome | ≈ 25 ft | ≈ 1,962.5 ft² | 4 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| 60 ft Event Dome | ≈ 30 ft | ≈ 2,800 ft² | 4 days | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Approximate dimensions for initial planning. Sizes are subject to change during engineering. Final dimensions and required installation clearances will be confirmed for your project.
Capacity and height are planning estimates only. Final layout depends on your interior program, local rules, and engineering — we estimate them for your project during quoting. Setup times are typical on-site figures; your schedule is confirmed during quoting.

Planning Your Site
- A level surface, indoor or outdoor
- Access for delivery vehicles and installation equipment
- Working room around the dome for installation — larger domes can need 20 ft or more
- Indoors: enough clearance and room for lift equipment during installation
- Power for lighting, climate, and AV options
- Anchoring or ballast as set by the engineering for your site
- Agreed setup and removal windows
