Planning the Site
Field, fairground, or parking lot — the fundamentals hold:
- A level surface, indoor or outdoor
- Access for delivery vehicles and installation equipment
- Working room around the dome for installation — larger domes can need 20 ft or more
- Indoors: enough clearance and room for lift equipment during installation
- Power for lighting, climate, and AV options
- Anchoring or ballast as set by the engineering for your site
- Agreed setup and removal windows
Install and strike windows are agreed with your production schedule and written into the quote.
U.S. rental projects are quoted by location and date, including Alaska and Hawaii. Additional shipping costs and lead times apply to Alaska and Hawaii. International inquiries are reviewed individually; availability, logistics, insurance, customs, and local requirements must be confirmed before booking.

Can a dome work as an actual festival stage?
Yes — as a contained second stage or DJ dome rather than a main-stage replacement. Sound, lighting, and flooring build into the open interior, and a blackout cover makes it a dark room even mid-afternoon. AV can be your production's own, or coordinated through our partners when scoped. Services are scoped in your proposal.
What happens if the weather turns?
The dome is engineered for the project, and that engineering sets the anchoring or ballast and the weather contingency requirements for the site. On-site monitoring and show-day calls — pausing sets, moving crowds — usually stay with festival production; the responsibility split is written into the quote so everyone knows who does what before doors.
How do you handle crowd flow in and out?
Entrance count and placement are planned to the expected traffic — single controlled entry for scheduled shows, multiple open entrances for lounges and bars. Egress requirements follow the site planning review and local rules.
Do domes get hot with a crowd inside?
A full dome generates heat like any packed room, so ventilation and climate control are quoted against expected occupancy and season — airflow for daytime lounges, powered ventilation or climate control for dance floors and blackout shows.
What power does a dome need on a festival site?
It depends on the build: lighting-only lounges are light loads, while sound, climate control, and projection add up. Power requirements are specified in the quote so the dome lands on your generator plan like any other stage.
Can you run the projection show for us?
Yes, when it's scoped. Technical staffing and show operation are available services quoted with the projection system — they are not automatic inclusions. Custom content is coordinated through our production partners.
Can the dome be up for the whole festival season?
Yes. Rentals run from a single night to a full season on site, and touring festivals can move the structure between stops — or purchase it outright once the calendar justifies owning. Every standard size can be purchased or rented; we'll quote the options against your run of shows.
How far ahead should a festival book?
