Tetra Glass Geodesic Dome Kit

The Tetra Glass dome kit is our permanent glass dome in two builds on one frame: all glass, or glass with insulated panels. Both use our pre-welded aluminum frame and double-pane tempered glass, and both cost the same.

The Tetra All Glass Dome is our fully transparent dome structure, made entirely from double-pane tempered glass panels mounted on a structural aluminum frame. It’s designed for those who want unobstructed views, natural light, and that high-end architectural aesthetic.

Glass with insulated panels is the second Tetra Glass build, with insulated aluminum panels on the lower portion and double-pane tempered glass above. It keeps your views while adding privacy and insulation where you want them, with a warm wood-grain interior finish on the panels.

Yes. At The Dome House, we build each dome to order, so you can pick which parts stay fully transparent and which are solid. Want privacy in the back and views up front? Need more insulation on the north side? We can make that happen.

The frame is pre-welded aluminum, not PVC or wood. The panels are double-pane tempered glass, or insulated aluminum panels in the glass-with-panels build. These aren’t tent materials. They’re chosen for a permanent structure.

The insulated panels come in a range of finishes, including wood tones, matte black, and neutral hues. If you want to match the environment or brand your dome for a resort, we can work with you on color selection.

The Tetra Hybrid puts double-pane glass in a viewing area and covers the rest of the dome with an insulated cover, built for a smarter budget. The Tetra Glass is all glass, or glass with insulated panels. It’s made for locations and clients where the view matters most, and you can have full privacy with mirror glass too.

Yes. Clear, mirrored and tinted glass are included at no extra charge. We offer multiple shades of mirrored, bronze, dark, and of course, clear, and tinted or reflective glass adds daytime privacy and helps manage sunlight, glare, and heat.

If you’ve got lights on inside and no tint or curtains, yes—it’ll be visible. But a curtain system comes with every dome, and we offer privacy tint options, so you can control visibility when the sun goes down. You get the openness and the option to shut it out when needed.

Yes. The Tetra All Glass Dome is built with our pre-welded aluminum strut system and weather-sealed, tempered glass. Wind and snow loads are addressed in the engineering for your site, with stamped documentation available for permitting.

Five standard sizes from 16 ft to 30 ft in diameter. Popular options for scenic retreats or sky-view stays are 20 ft, 23 ft, and 30 ft—depending on whether you’re building a personal retreat or a high-end short-term rental. Need a larger dome? Larger sizes are available on request.

The glass-with-insulated-panels build is our most insulated option, and the all-glass build uses double-pane tempered glass to help regulate interior temperature. In colder climates, many customers add floor insulation, curtains, and heating systems to maintain comfort.
